BRUNO LAWRENCE RACO
Pianist, Composer, Arranger and Music Teacher
I was born in Italy and I started my musical studies at the age of 11 with the pianist Guido Bottaro and the composer Alfio Fazio, in Genoa, Italy, and graduated from the Conservatory. I have been working as a classical pianist and accompanist since 1999 in Italy and many other countries. I have been studying electronic sound design for musical purposes in Germany.
At present I am working as accompanist for Theater Basel and freelancer composer, as well as pianist for ballet competitions and workshops. I also teach History of Music and Music Theory at the Huber Widemann Schule (HWS). Since 2013 I play regularly for the "Prix de Lausanne" international ballet competition and for the "Beijing International Ballet Competition". I produce music of any type, from the children’s ballet to the most experimental contemporary styles.
